About MTB Fitness and Matt Mooney
MTB Fitness was founded by me, Personal Trainer Matt Mooney, in 2015. As a super keen mountain biker I noticed there was a real lack of quality mountain bike training and nutrition advice available for mountain bikers to follow. I felt there was a huge gap...and I set out to fill it!
I've been a Personal Trainer since 2010, at first through a company called Pro-Fit Personal Training. I spent 3 years there, learning as much as possible from the best in the industry on training, nutrition, recovery, mindset and everything needed to get the best possible results for clients. I now work 1-1 with clients out of Saddleworth Leisure Centre and run MTB Fitness full time.
My aim is to grow MTB Fitness into the go-to-name in the mountain biking industry for all things mountain bike training, nutrition, recovery and mindset. I aim to help as many mountain bikers as I possibly can. Thanks so much for getting involved in the journey!
